Let's look at my Christian and legal name, Matthew Scott Morrison. First off, Matthew means "Gift of God", and my parents believe me to be a gift from Heaven. Well, they wanted a second child; they got it, me! Secondly, I am Scott which means "Son of Scotland." My father wanted me to appreciate my Scottish heritage hence the middle name, Scott. Thirdly, my surname Morrison means lots of fun things: "Son of Moor","Son of Mary", and "Son of Morr". However, I personally like to think that I come from the Lewis Morrison who's family line is traced back to Norway-hence, why I sometimes call myself Matthew "Son of Title,"the literaly Lewis Morrison translation. In the end, my name is "Gift of God""Son of Scotland""Son of Title" which I like the way that it rolls off my ego driven head. In all honesty, I am kind of egomanical, but I try to keep myself humble to my best ability. Maybe, I am helped being a "Gift of God", or it just contributes to my already big head, oh well.

Then, why do I go by the name of Rodimus_Convoy on the net? Well, it all go back to when my father would tell me to, "cool your motors, Hot Rod." When he was comparing me to a hot rod, I thought he was talking about the autobot tm named Hot Rod tm. Later, he started using Hot Rod as his pet name for me, so I naturally took this extension to the net. However, when I was signing up for an e-mail account Hot_Rod@yahoo.com was taken, so I tried Rodimus_Prime@yahoo.com, which was also taken. I thought for awhile about a name, but I would come back to Hot Rod. I thought why not the Japanese name for Hot Rod, Hot Rodimus tm. It turned out that it too was taken. I had only one try left namely the Matrix powered version of Hot Rod in Japenese, Rodimus Convoy tm. Thus, I became Rodimus Convoy on the net. Rodimus Convoy is a name that brings with it a sense of youth, power, and maybe a little bit of leadership. (Ok, I know Optimus Prime was a better leader, but Rodimus made better tactical decinsions. So there!)

In a strange way, I was named both times by my father. Dad, if you are reading this, thank you! Plus, I will never answer this question again. Rodimus Convoy is Matthew Morrison, a dean's list college student with a radio show. Matthew Morrison is Rodimus Convoy, the host of MSM Republic. I am both together at once. I am just Matthew Morrison most of the time.
